Postalytics

Send direct mail from your phone line, with Postalytics connected to your agent.

Connect Postalytics to AgentCalls and your agent can work with your mail campaigns during a call. It can add a caller to a contact list, check a suppression list before anything goes out, and start a new direct mail campaign from a template you have already approved. After a call, the agent can also confirm that a postcard or letter is on its way. Your team keeps full control: you choose the templates, lists and sender details, and you can review every campaign in Postalytics.

What your agent can do with Postalytics

  • Add or update a caller on a Postalytics contact list while you are on the phone
  • Add a caller to a suppression list so they stop receiving mailings
  • Start a new direct mail campaign from an approved template and sender details
  • Create a webhook so campaign events such as sent, delivered and opened reach your systems

Postalytics exposes 24 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Inbound: a customer asks to stop receiving mail

  1. Caller

Hi, I keep getting your postcards at home and I'd like them to stop.

  2. Agent

I'm sorry about that. I'll add you to our suppression list right now so you won't get any more mailings. Can I confirm the name and address on the account?

  3. Caller

It's Dana Whitfield, 418 Maple Court, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

  4. Agent

Thanks, Dana. You're suppressed from all upcoming campaigns. You should not receive anything further from us.

Lookup: a new lead asks to join the spring mailer

  1. Caller

I saw your offer in the mail last week. Can I get on the list for the spring tune-up mailing?

  2. Agent

Yes. What's the best email and mailing address for you?

  3. Caller

Sam Okafor, 22 Harbour Road, Bristol BS1 4DJ. The email is sam.okafor@example.co.uk.

  4. Agent

Got it, Sam. You're added to the spring tune-up contact list, and you'll receive the mailer in the next send.

Outbound: confirming a follow-up campaign

  1. Agent

Hello, this is calling for Riverside Dental. We sent you a postcard about cleaning appointments last month. Is this a good time to talk?

  2. Caller

    Sure, go ahead.

  3. Agent

We're sending a reminder letter this Thursday with a 15 percent discount on cleanings booked before the end of the month. Would you like us to keep you on that list?

  4. Caller

    Yes, keep me on it.

  5. Agent

Perfect. You're on the list for Thursday's letter. Thanks for your time.

Questions, answered.

Does the agent work with Postalytics during the call or after it?

Both. During a call, your agent can add contacts and update suppression lists. After a call, it can start campaigns from templates you have approved and report event updates from your webhook.

What do I need to connect Postalytics?

You need a Postalytics account. Sign in to the AgentCalls dashboard, open Integrations, choose Postalytics and enter the credentials from your Postalytics settings. Integrations are included from the Growth plan.

Can the agent send a campaign without my approval?

No. Templates must be created and proofed in Postalytics before the agent can start a campaign from them, and you control which sender details and lists are used.
