Your agent can already read, write and reason. Now it can pick up the phone.

Most AI agents are stuck behind a screen: they can send an email or update a record, but half of the real world still runs on phone calls. AgentCalls gives an agent a phone line that works like a colleague's: a real number people can call, a voice that answers in under a second, and the ability to call out when a job needs it.

You do not host telephony, pick a speech model or write a dialling loop. You describe what the agent should do in plain language, choose a voice, get a number, and connect your assistant. Everything that happens on the line comes back as text: a live transcript while the call runs, then a summary, an outcome and the fields you asked it to capture.

Live in ten minutes

  1. 1

    Connect your assistant

Paste https://agentcalls.net/mcp into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code and sign in. Your own agent can use the REST API with a key instead.

  2. 2

    Describe the phone agent

Who it is, what it may promise, when to hand over to a human, which hours it keeps. Pick a voice. Test it from the browser for free.

  3. 3

    Get a number

Self-serve in 12 countries (US and Canada included); on request elsewhere, with our team handling the carrier registration. Assign the agent and it answers.

  4. 4

    Make and take calls

Inbound callers reach the agent. Your assistant can start calls one at a time or as a campaign, watch the live transcript, and end a call if needed.

Everything a phone line needs, as tools your agent calls

  • Numbers in 95 countries

Local, toll-free and mobile numbers. Search inventory, buy instantly where the country allows it, request where registration is required. Release when done.

  • Inbound with memory

Callers get a natural voice that remembers them, follows business hours, books, looks things up and transfers to a human when it should.

  • Outbound, one call or a campaign

Place a call with a note about the goal, or upload a list with calling hours, retries and voicemail detection. Do-not-call flags and allowed countries are enforced.

  • Transcript, summary, outcome

A live transcript during the call; a summary, outcome, sentiment and structured fields about a minute after hang-up. Recordings on a signed link.

  • Actions in 1,500+ tools

Calendars, CRMs, helpdesks, stores and spreadsheets the agent can act in during the call. Connect them from the dashboard, allow them per agent.

  • Webhooks and API

Signed events when calls start, end and summaries are ready. A REST API and OpenAPI document for your own systems.

  • Interactive cards

In Claude and ChatGPT the agent shows live-call, summary, number-search, balance and campaign cards you can act on, with confirmations before money moves.

  • Guard rails

Buying numbers, starting calls and campaigns always need an explicit yes. Every action is written to an audit log with the name of the person who connected the app.

Three ways to connect

Pick the one your agent speaks. All three see the same organization, the same permissions and the same audit log.

MCP server

One URL and a sign-in for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and any client that supports remote MCP servers. 43 tools covering agents, numbers, calls, campaigns, contacts, billing, integrations, webhooks and settings; interactive cards where the host renders them.

What it looks like

Your assistant does the talking to the platform; the phone agent does the talking to people.

“Call Sara and move her Thursday appointment to 11. Tell me how it went.”

  1. Phone agent

Hi Sara, this is Mia from Northwind Clinic. I'm calling about your appointment on Thursday at ten.

  2. Sara

Oh hi. Ten is a bit early for me, to be honest.

  3. Phone agent

No problem. We have eleven o'clock free on Thursday. Shall I move you to eleven?

  4. Sara

    Yes please, eleven works.

  5. Phone agent

Done. You're booked for Thursday at eleven. I'll send a reminder the day before. Anything else?

  1. 1

The assistant checked Sara's contact and do-not-call status, picked the published agent and the outbound number, asked you for a yes, then called start_call with a note about the goal.

  2. 2

A card showed the call live: who was on the line, the elapsed time, the transcript, an End call button.

  3. 3

A minute after hang-up it read the summary: appointment moved to 11:00, sentiment positive, no follow-up needed, and wrote it back to you.

What agents do with a phone number

  • Customer-facing agents that answer

A support or sales agent that already lives in your tools gets a number customers can call, with the same knowledge and the same memory.

  • Follow-ups and confirmations

Confirm appointments, chase quotes, verify deliveries, collect a missing detail: one call each, placed by your assistant with a note about the goal.

  • Outreach campaigns

Renewal reminders, event invitations, satisfaction surveys: a list, calling hours, retries, and results per contact.

  • Research and operations

Agents that call suppliers for a price, a clinic for availability or a venue for a quote, and report back in text.

  • A number for the agent itself

Give an autonomous agent a phone identity: people can call it, leave it a message, and it can call them back.

  • Bilingual lines

English and Arabic voices, including Gulf, Saudi, Egyptian and Levantine accents, with callers who switch languages mid-call.

Where you can get a number

95 countries today. In 12 of them a number is live within a minute of buying it. Elsewhere the carrier needs business registration first: your agent files the request with the business details, our team completes the registration, and the number activates within about three business days.

Which AI agents can use it?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers: Claude (web, desktop, mobile), ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and custom agents built on the MCP SDKs. Agents without MCP use the REST API with an API key.

Does the agent itself talk on the phone?

The phone conversation is handled by the AgentCalls voice agent you configure (instructions, voice, hours, tools). Your assistant drives it: it starts calls, reads the live transcript and the summary, and can end a call. That keeps the line fast and reliable.

Can my agent make calls on its own?

Only with an explicit yes from you: starting calls, campaigns and buying numbers require a confirmation on every action, and the permissions you grant at sign-in limit what the agent can touch. You can revoke the connection at any time.

Which countries are self-serve?

12 countries, including the United States and Canada. The United Kingdom, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and most of Europe are on request: the carrier requires business registration, which our team completes for you.

What does a call cost?

Calls use the minutes included in your plan, then a per-minute rate from the prepaid wallet; premium voices cost more per minute. Numbers are a monthly fee unless included. The balance tool shows the exact rates for your plan.

Can I receive SMS?

Not yet. Numbers are voice numbers; your agent can call and be called. Text channels are on the roadmap.
