Simple Analytics

Ask your phone agent for live traffic numbers from Simple Analytics.

Simple Analytics is a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics. It tracks visitors without cookies or trackers. Connect your Simple Analytics account to AgentCalls and your agent can read your website stats during a call. A customer can ask how the site is doing, and your agent answers with current visitors, pageviews and bounce rate for the site they name. Your agent can also pull the list of websites on your account, so it knows which site a caller means. Connect once from your AgentCalls dashboard, using your own credentials from Simple Analytics settings.

What your agent can do with Simple Analytics

  • Read aggregated stats such as visitors, pageviews and bounce rate for any connected website
  • List all websites on your Simple Analytics account so callers can pick the right one by name
  • Export raw page view and event data for a site when a caller or your team needs a file sent afterwards
  • Answer traffic questions from partners or clients without you pulling a report

Simple Analytics exposes 4 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

A partner asks how the site is doing

  1. Caller

Hi, I'm calling about the Brightline Studio site. How much traffic did it get this week?

  2. Agent

Hello, thanks for calling. Let me check. The Brightline Studio site had about 4,820 visitors and 11,300 pageviews over the last seven days. The bounce rate was 41 percent.

  3. Caller

That's better than last month. Can you send me the export for the blog section?

  4. Agent

Yes, I can prepare that. I'll email you the page view export for the blog within the hour.

A quick check before a campaign call

  1. Caller

Good morning, I want to know whether yesterday's newsletter drove visits to the pricing page.

  2. Agent

Good morning. Yesterday the pricing page received 312 visitors, up from about 180 on a typical day. Most of them came from the newsletter link.

  3. Caller

Great, thank you. Please note that for our Monday meeting.

  4. Agent

Noted. I'll add it to your Monday summary.

An outbound check-in with a client
