Connect NetLicensing so your agent can check, assign and validate software licenses on the phone.

NetLicensing manages your products, license templates, licensees and licenses. Connect it to AgentCalls and your agent can use those records while it talks to customers. It can confirm whether a customer holds a valid license, create a licensee and assign a license from a template, or issue licenses from a bundle after a sale. For floating licenses, it can check a session out and back in during a call. Your team keeps full control of the products and license models; the agent only acts on what you allow.

What your agent can do with NetLicensing

  • Look up a licensee and confirm whether they hold a valid license during the call
  • Create a new licensee and assign a license from a template after a sale
  • Issue one or more licenses from a bundle for a customer who just bought
  • Check a floating license session out and back in for a customer's active use
  • Create a product or license template when you add a new offering

NetLicensing exposes 21 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Customer confirms their license is active

  1. Caller

Hi, I bought the desktop suite last month but the app says my license expired. Can you check?

  2. Agent

Sure, can I have the email address you used at checkout?

  3. Caller

    It's dana.reyes@brightpath.io.

  4. Agent

Thanks, Dana. Your Desktop Suite Pro license is active until March 3, 2026. The expiry message may come from an older install. Would you like me to send the reinstall steps by email?

License issued after a phone purchase

  1. Caller

I'd like to buy the Team bundle for five seats. Can you set that up for me?

  2. Agent

Of course. What company name should the licensee be under?

  3. Caller

    Northwind Logistics.

  4. Agent

Done. I've created the licensee and issued five licenses from the Team bundle. The license keys will be sent to your billing email within the next few minutes.

Floating license checked out for a remote engineer

  1. Caller

Our engineer in Leeds can't open the analysis tool. It says no seats are available.

  2. Agent

Let me check the session pool for your account. I can see all five floating seats are in use right now.

  3. Caller

Can you free one up for her?

  4. Agent

I've checked in the session that has been idle since this morning and checked out a new one for the Leeds user. She should be able to open the tool now.

Questions, answered.

Does the agent work with NetLicensing during the call or after it?

Both. During a call the agent can look up licenses, create licensees, assign licenses and check floating sessions in and out. It can also send follow-up messages once the call ends.

What do I need to connect NetLicensing?

You need an account in NetLicensing. Enter your credentials in the AgentCalls dashboard under Integrations, then choose which products and actions the agent may use. Integrations are included from the Growth plan.

Can the agent change products or license models?

Only if you enable those actions. Creating products and license templates is optional and can be turned off, so the agent can only assign and check licenses by default.
