Look up, find and manage your DocuPipe documents from a live phone call.

Connect DocuPipe and your agent can answer questions about documents your team has already processed. A caller asks for the status of a submitted file, your agent looks it up and reads back the result. Your agent can find documents by filename or dataset, check whether processing is finished, and pull structured details from a schema. It can also check your account usage so you know what remains on your plan. Deleting documents is always a deliberate step, and your agent only removes a document when you have set that up for the call.

What your agent can do with DocuPipe

  • Find a processed document by filename or dataset and read back its status and page count
  • Retrieve extracted fields from a document using an existing extraction schema
  • Check whether a job has finished, is still running, or has returned an error
  • Report current plan credits and usage for the month on request

DocuPipe exposes 13 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Caller asks about a submitted invoice

  1. Caller

Hi, I sent in the Harper Logistics invoice yesterday. Has it been processed?

  2. Agent

Let me check that for you. I can see Harper_Logistics_Invoice_0417.pdf. Processing finished this morning and it has three pages.

  3. Caller

Great. Can you tell me the total amount on it?

  4. Agent

The total on the invoice is $4,286.50, due on May 10. Would you like me to send the full extracted details to your email?

Customer asks for the status of a job

  1. Caller

We uploaded a batch of contracts this afternoon. Are they ready to review?

  2. Agent

I'm checking the job now. Eleven of twelve contracts are complete. One is still running and should finish in about ten minutes.

  3. Caller

Okay, I'll call back after lunch then.

  4. Agent

Sounds good. I can also text you a note when the last one finishes if you'd like.

Owner checks remaining credits before a big upload

  1. Caller

Before I upload the Q2 receipts, how many credits do we have left this month?

  2. Agent

You have 6,200 credits left on your Growth plan. Last month you used about 3,800, mostly on invoice parsing.

  3. Caller

    That should cover it. Thanks.

  4. Agent

You're welcome. I'll let the team know the upload is cleared to go ahead.

From Integrations in the dashboard, choose DocuPipe and enter the connection details from your DocuPipe account settings.

  3. 3

    Choose the actions

In the agent editor, enable the DocuPipe actions the agent may use and set each to run during the call or afterwards. Then test it from your browser.

Questions, answered.

Does it work during the call or only after?

Your agent uses DocuPipe during the call. When a caller asks about a document, job or usage, it looks up the current state and speaks the answer back. It does not wait for a later sync.

What do I need to connect DocuPipe?

You need a DocuPipe account and the credentials from its settings. Sign in to the AgentCalls dashboard, open Integrations, choose DocuPipe and enter your credentials. The connection takes a few minutes.

Which plan includes this integration?

Integrations, including DocuPipe, are included from the Growth plan. Deleting documents also requires you to enable that action explicitly in your agent settings.
