Affinity

Connect Affinity so your agent can look up contacts and deal status during calls.

Affinity is the relationship and deal CRM used by private capital teams to track companies, people and opportunities. Connect your Affinity account and your agent can read your records while it talks to a caller. It can check a company's list status, find a contact's history with your firm, or pull the current stage of an opportunity, then tell the caller what it finds. Your agent reads from Affinity during the call. It does not change your data unless you add that permission for your connected account.

What your agent can do with Affinity

  • Look up a person or company and confirm they are in your Affinity records
  • Check which lists a company appears on and its current status in each list
  • Read opportunity stage and basic details to answer status questions on the phone
  • Pull a contact's list entries and history before a callback
  • Work only with the lists and fields your connected Affinity account can access

Affinity exposes 20 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Inbound status question from a founder

  1. Caller

Hi, this is Dana Okafor from Northbridge Labs. Can you tell me where our application stands with your fund?

  2. Agent

Of course, Dana. Let me pull up Northbridge Labs in our records. One moment.

  3. Agent

I can see Northbridge Labs is in the Series A pipeline, currently at the second review stage. The team last updated it on the 12th.

  4. Caller

Great, thank you. Is there anything else you need from us?

  5. Agent

Nothing right now. I'll let the team know you called and asked for an update.

Analyst checking a contact before a meeting

  1. Caller

Hello, I'm calling for Marcus Hale about the Tuesday meeting. Is his file up to date?

  2. Agent

Hi. Let me look up Marcus Hale in Affinity.

  3. Agent

Marcus is on two lists, Founders Q3 and Warm Introductions. The last interaction logged was a call on March 4 with the deal team.

  4. Caller

Perfect. Can you confirm his company is still listed as Halden Mobility?

  5. Agent

Yes, Halden Mobility is still the company on his record. I'll note that you confirmed it.

Outbound follow-up after a lookup

  1. Agent

Good morning, this is calling for Priya Raman. Is this a good time to talk about your last update?

  2. Caller

Sure, go ahead. I've been waiting on the next step.

  3. Agent

Thanks. The opportunity with Lumen Health is at the diligence stage. We have a document request open from May 2, and the team wants to schedule a call next week.

  4. Caller

Okay, I can do Thursday afternoon. Please put that in.

  5. Agent

Noted. I've shared Thursday afternoon with the team and they will confirm the time by email.

An Affinity account with the permissions you want the agent to use, such as exporting data from lists. Connect it from the AgentCalls dashboard using the credentials in your Affinity settings.
