Run commands on your computers from a phone call with TRIGGERcmd.

TRIGGERcmd lets you run pre-set commands on your computers remotely. Connect it to AgentCalls and your agent can list your machines, browse the commands you have set up, and trigger one during a call. A small business can use this to restart a service, start a backup, or kick off a routine task without anyone logging in. You control which commands exist, so the agent only runs what you have already configured. Connect your TRIGGERcmd account from the AgentCalls dashboard. Integrations are included from the Growth plan.

What your agent can do with Triggercmd

  • Check which computers are connected to your TRIGGERcmd account
  • Browse the commands you have configured across your machines
  • Trigger a pre-configured command on a chosen computer during a call
  • Confirm the result back to the caller or your team

Triggercmd exposes 5 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Restarting the office print server

  1. Caller

Hi, the print server in the Leeds office has stopped responding. Can someone look at it?

  2. Agent

I can restart it for you now. Let me check that the restart command is available on the Leeds machine.

  3. Agent

Done. I ran the restart on the print server. It is back online and accepting jobs. Want me to message Sam so he knows?

  4. Caller

    Yes please, thanks.

Starting the nightly backup early

  1. Caller

Hey, I need last week's client files backed up before I leave for the airport tonight. Can you run the backup?

  2. Agent

Sure. I see the backup command on your main workstation. Starting it now.

  3. Agent

The backup has started on the workstation. It usually finishes in about twenty minutes. I will let you know when it is complete.

  4. Caller

    Perfect. Thank you.

Checking which machines are online

  1. Caller

Which of our computers are connected right now? I am not sure the shop laptop is still on.

  2. Agent

Your TRIGGERcmd account shows three computers. The front desk PC, the stock laptop and the shop laptop are all connected.

  3. Caller

Good, that is one less thing to worry about. Can you run the inventory report on the stock laptop?

  4. Agent

Running the inventory report on the stock laptop now. I will send the file to your email when it finishes.

Questions, answered.

Does this work during the call or after it?

Both. Your agent can list computers and commands and trigger one while the caller is still on the line. It can also run a command later as part of a follow-up task.

What do I need to connect TRIGGERcmd?

You need a TRIGGERcmd account with your computers already set up. Sign in from the AgentCalls dashboard and enter your TRIGGERcmd credentials from the tool's settings.

Can the agent run any command on my computers?

No. It only runs commands you have already configured in TRIGGERcmd. Anything you have not set up cannot be triggered by the agent.
