Connect Svix to your phone agent and check webhook status during a call.

Svix sends webhooks reliably for your product. With Svix connected, your agent can look up applications, check whether a message was delivered, and review recent delivery attempts when a customer or your team calls. It can also register a new webhook endpoint or update an application's settings once the right record is confirmed. Connect Svix with your own credentials from its settings, and your agent works inside your account only.

What your agent can do with Svix

  • Look up an application by ID and read its details during a call
  • Check delivery attempts for a specific message to answer 'did it arrive?'
  • Create a new webhook endpoint from a URL the caller provides
  • Update application name, rate limit or metadata after confirming the record

Svix exposes 37 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Developer asks if a webhook was delivered

  1. Caller

Hi, we sent a payment event last night but our system never got it. Can you check?

  2. Agent

Sure. Can you read me the message ID from your dashboard, or the application name it belongs to?

  3. Caller

The message ID is msg_2Kx9ab4. It's under the billing app.

  4. Agent

Thanks. Message msg_2Kx9ab4 has two delivery attempts. The first returned a 500 error at 11:42 PM, and the second succeeded at 11:47 PM with a 200 response. Your endpoint received it on the retry.

Adding a new webhook receiver

  1. Caller

We need to add a new endpoint for our staging server. The URL is https://staging.brightpath.io/hooks.

  2. Agent

Got it. Which application should it go under? I can see Orders and Billing.

  3. Caller

    Orders, please.

  4. Agent

I've created the endpoint for Orders pointing to https://staging.brightpath.io/hooks. It's active now and will receive new events from that application.

Updating an application's rate limit

  1. Caller

Our Notifications app is hitting its rate limit during the morning sync. Can we raise it?

  2. Agent

I can help with that. I'm looking up the Notifications application now. It currently allows 200 messages per second. What limit would you like?

  3. Caller

    Let's go to 500.

  4. Agent

Done. The Notifications application's rate limit is now 500 per second. Anything else you need for today?

Questions, answered.

Does the agent work with Svix during the call or only afterwards?

Your agent works with Svix during the call. It looks up applications, messages and delivery attempts, and makes changes you have approved, all while the caller is on the line. It does not run in the background after the call ends.

What do I need to connect Svix?

You need a Svix account and your own credentials from the Svix settings page. Sign in to the AgentCalls dashboard, open Integrations, choose Svix, and paste the credentials. Your agent then works only in your Svix account.

Which plan includes the Svix integration?

Integrations, including Svix, are included from the Growth plan. Smaller plans can see the Svix page but cannot connect it until you upgrade.
