Block threats and trackers on your business network, managed by your voice agent.

NextDNS filters DNS traffic to block malicious sites, tracking scripts and ads before they reach a device. Connect your NextDNS account and your agent can check your current security settings, add domains or top-level domains to your blocklists, and look up device activity during a call. Changes are made on the spot, so a customer or staff member who reports a site as unsafe can be protected without waiting for someone to log in.

What your agent can do with Nextdns

  • Add a domain to a profile's denylist while on the call
  • Add a top-level domain to the security blocklist after checking current settings
  • Check per-device query activity for a chosen time window
  • Turn the block page on or off for a profile
  • Download a link to exported DNS logs for review

Nextdns exposes 68 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Staff member reports a suspicious site

  1. Caller

Hi, one of our front desk computers got a pop-up from a site called promo-deals-fast.xyz. Can you block it?

  2. Agent

Sure. Which business profile should I apply it to, the main office or the warehouse?

  3. Caller

    The main office.

  4. Agent

Done. promo-deals-fast.xyz is now on the denylist for the main office profile. Anything else you want me to check?

Quick check on a device's activity

  1. Caller

Can you tell me how many DNS queries the accounts laptop made yesterday afternoon?

  2. Agent

Give me a moment. The accounts laptop made 1,284 queries between 1 pm and 6 pm yesterday, with 37 of them blocked.

  3. Caller

Thanks, that's more than I expected.

  4. Agent

I can send you a link to the full log export if you want to review the blocked ones.

Follow-up on a blocked top-level domain

  1. Caller

We're switching off the .example TLD for our internal tools. Please add it to the security blocklist.

  2. Agent

I checked the current security settings and .example is not blocked yet. I've added it to the main profile's blocklist now.

  3. Caller

Perfect. Please also turn on the block page so staff see a message.

  4. Agent

The block page is on for the main profile. Staff will see a notice the next time they hit a blocked domain.

How to connect Nextdns

  1. 1

    Create your agent

Sign up to AgentCalls, pick an English or Arabic voice and write what the agent should know and do in plain language.

  2. 2

    Connect Nextdns

From Integrations in the dashboard, choose Nextdns and enter the connection details from your Nextdns account settings.

  3. 3

    Choose the actions

In the agent editor, enable the Nextdns actions the agent may use and set each to run during the call or afterwards. Then test it from your browser.

Questions, answered.

Does it work during a call or only after?

Both. Your agent can make changes and look up device activity while you are on the phone. Some actions, such as clearing logs, take effect straight away and cannot be undone, so the agent will confirm before running them.

What do I need to connect NextDNS?

You need a NextDNS account with at least one profile. Sign in to AgentCalls, open the tools page, and connect NextDNS using the credentials from your NextDNS settings. Nothing else is needed.

Which plan includes this integration?

Integrations are included from the Growth plan. Our Starter plan does not include tool connections.
