Create and track Hive tasks from a phone call.

Connect Hive to AgentCalls and your agent can work inside your workspace while it talks to customers and staff. It can create actions and assign them to the right people, look up projects and labels, check the status of existing work, and remove items that are no longer needed. Hive keeps its soft-delete rules, so removed actions can still be recovered. Your team sees every change in Hive as it happens.

What your agent can do with Hive

  • Create Hive actions in a workspace, inside a chosen project, and assign them to team members during the call
  • Look up an action's current status, owner and dates so your agent can answer questions without a callback
  • List actions by project, status or date range to give a quick update on open work
  • Find projects and labels in your workspace and tag new actions with the right ones
  • Create or remove labels and soft-delete actions that are no longer needed

Hive exposes 10 actions. You choose which ones the agent may use and whether each runs during or after the call.

Example calls

Inbound request turned into a Hive task

  1. Caller

Hi, this is Daniel Ortiz from Harbor Street Dental. Our waiting room chair in room two is broken and we need someone to fix it this week.

  2. Agent

Thanks, Daniel. I've created a task in Hive for the facilities project and assigned it to Maria Chen. She'll confirm a repair time by Thursday.

  3. Caller

Perfect, can you also add the label urgent?

  4. Agent

Done. The task now carries the urgent label, and Maria has been notified in Hive.

Checking on an open action

  1. Caller

Hello, I'm calling about the new client onboarding checklist. Has anyone started it?

  2. Agent

Good morning. The onboarding checklist is in progress. Priya Nair picked it up on Monday and four of its seven actions are complete.

  3. Caller

Great. When is the next one due?

  4. Agent

The contract review is due Friday, the 14th. Would you like me to note a reminder on it?

Outbound update and cleanup

  1. Agent

Hi Sam, this is calling from Ridgeway Logistics with your weekly task summary. Three actions are overdue in the warehouse project.

  2. Caller

Oh, the carrier pickup form is already handled. Can you clear it?

  3. Agent

I've removed the carrier pickup form action from Hive. It's soft-deleted, so it can still be restored if needed.

Questions, answered.

Does the agent work with Hive during the call or after it?

Both. Your agent can create, look up and update Hive items while the call is live, and it can also act after a call ends, such as when a follow-up is needed.

What do I need to connect Hive?

You need an account in Hive with access to the workspace. Sign in from the AgentCalls dashboard, enter your Hive credentials in the tool settings, and choose the workspace to use.

Is Hive included in my plan?

Integrations, including Hive, are included from the Growth plan.
